Grandmaster Lagarejos brought his system of Sikaran to the United States 51 years ago. He has taught the system from California to New Hampshire, and in Puerto Rico and Samoa.
He has kept the system small but true to its roots. He has never promoted people from other systems to high rank in Sikaran, rather he has told them if they want to learn the system to start as beginners and earn their rank.
